Traded some stuff for this and it was worth it!!!

Post by cauzwoah3E »

lol we were just rolling back to our town from the twin cities and he started telling me about this dj beat machine he got as a present when he was 11. It turned out to be the YAMAHA DJX IIB. it was missing the software and power cable but I think this thing rocks! its def analog but its cool. Is there anyone else that has one of these and would like to discuss this 1990s style machine?

1) It's digital, not analog.
2) Are you trying to say analog is uncool? If so, why do you think so?

Oh, don't be mistaken on that either. Every half-modern analog synth has software - the OS controlling the analog parts of the audio path, handling MIDI data, etc. On some even just the oscillators and filters are analog, all the rest (envelopes, LFOs, effects) are digital and done in software. Think Alesis Andromeda A6.
