compression clipping

lately ive been having the problem of when compressing like a kick drum for example, it makes a clipping type of sound when it hits. . .this is mainly with the number 12 but sometimes with vinyl sim too. . .any help??

the attack is too high try turning knob two down. or sample with high attack then trim the beginning down to remove the click but keep the high compression sound
