Hi,
How can I tell if the D:Beam on my slightly tatty new (to me) 2nd hand SP 606 is faulty?
The synth and triggering seem to work ok, but whenever I switch to the MFX control all sound ceases until I switch it over again. I suspect that one of the D:Beam lights isn't working. One light is visibly light red, but the other one looks permanently dark. Should they both be visibly light?

The D Beam doesn't control MFX. Just Trigger, Synth and Filter. One light is black and the other is white. It looks burnt but its not.

Oh yes, you're right. I was having a flashback to my old SP808! Nonetheless, the Filter setting on the D:Beam just cuts all sound. Perhaps I need to have a poke around the Filter menu.
