INTERNAL MIC

Post by plexxsounds »

I had this idea to create some samples just by tapping and slapping the internal mic of the 404. Added some FX & resampled them and had this little play with the sounds. Handmade stuff it is. :)

Dope! Got to do this some time too.

It's pretty easy to create a synth style bass using the MFX, create sharper sounds with a metal-ish ticking sound to get all the basic drum stuff.

Heck you can probably make a shaker or hi-hat roll with a set of keys on a keyring. :)

Did you do any beat-boxing here?

Thanks for the comment PHeMoX. No beatboxing - just tapping the mic with my fingers and yes, you could create many types of sounds from virtually nothing. This was just a guick experiement though..
