Kel - Dope! I'm glad you were able to sit and listen to it. That's the best xmas preset right there!

Sleeps Numb - You finally got a chance to listen :) I have been trying to get at you on the 224 chat, but I haven't seen ya since last week. I hope yer not letting that 224 get dusty.

Ellaguru - Merry Xmas my friend! We'll keep the dirt machine going strong thru 2010 and beyond

yo this is niceeee.
22:15 is the joint for sure ;)
i've been looking for a sampletrakk for some time... the price is right and the lofi sound is dope
how do you feel about the effects on the machine
hows the compression and on the fly effect changes are they manageable or is it one effect for 1 pad.?
i need to play with one of these and start visiting the 224 forum
props

you can affect multiple pads with one effect, you choose which pads are effected by the pad enable button next to the effects nob, as for the effects i dig it a lot, plus you can tune samples without using a effect, i think the effects are pretty good...hope this helps pick one up then haggle him down to 40

Ellaguru - I agree! We've done more advertising and promoting for the 224 in a few months compared to what Zoom was able to do over the Sampletrak's entire lifetime! This is definitely gonna be a good year for the 224....... now if we could only get a beat tape done and a wikipedia entry completed we'd really be able to show Zoom 'wutsup'!

Johnny Canuck - you might also wanna check out this >>> LINK For the Windows 224 editor tutorial.

I assume there is no chop feature on the 224?....lots of dope loops...i skipped aroun and heard syntethic substitution a little to much and nice sidney joe qualls sample...all samples were mp3?

Good overall...nice cover art

Just saw one at a local pawn shop...$120 sounds like too much

Yes, very dope indeed. Loving the laidback style of these beats, without losing their funk. Great job. 8)

thanks- really good stuff- great job- I love all the film audio samples and the transitions. This is the sort of thing I really like. Boards Of Canada, etc. Kind of create a journey that has a thread connecting it all together and some mystery with the film audio snippets. Thanks for sharing it!

There is a guy out of Chicago who has 2 releases that you would prob like as well- you have a similar aesthetic- http://www.myspace.com/sektor1beats

Cheers,
