Yeah, I will do so first thing tomorrow!! I actually got an SP-404-made beat as well. Nothing spectacular as it's basically my first 404 beat, but I might put it up tomorrow.

Noob question though, do I use Pattern Backup to save it as a WAV file onto the SP-404 Compact Flash card?? Having loads of fun with my sp-404 (old version) already, no regrets here!

Unfortunately those SP-backups are only recognizable by sp-404 so you wont transfer them to your pc as .wavs.
The most simple solution would be just to record your pattern(s) to one track in Reaper/PC/ or your mv and then export.

The only things you can somehow "export" to the compact flash card in .wav file, are the samples you have. But remember to truncate them all if you want them to be on your card saved with your "start/end" points ( those points are also recognizable only for sp ).

Sorry I took so long, but I had to improvise to be able to record, as I still have to buy me some new phono cables so I can record / connect everything properly.
