all of the 2000s has been wack. It just like a watered down version of the 90s.

Well there was in fact some dope music in the zeros, besides the mentioned Clouddead and Portishead there would be the following on my list:

Deftones, Tool, Aphex Twin, Alias, Sole, Amon Tobin, Dälek, 65daysofstatic, Mastodon, Isis, The Dillinger Escape Plan, DOOM...

ah hell, hundreds of others, too. Sure it was different but through the rise of the internet we all got the chance to get to know countless underground acts that we couldn't possibly ever here otherwise. Honestly listening to alternative music for me only just started in 2000 with the release of Deftones' White Pony but of course I listen to music from the 90s a lot cause that's just the time I grew up, even if a lot of my friends use to giggle when I say the 90s were hella awesome years. (That I think is because there was only shit music coming from Europe if you weren't into techno) Times change and they always will and I feel like in the past 10 years a lot of great bands did the chance to be heard because the market opened and it was easier for a small band or musician to spread the music worldwide.

Dredg (El Cielo), Meshuggah, Nação Zumbi, The Cooper Temple Clause, Mudvayne (first two), Björk, Placebo... Library Tapes?

There's a long list of what IMHO is good stuff made in this decade, from both "mainstream" and "underground"...

It seems to be more like a matter of time (or timing) then anything else really, if you were born in the 80s then the 90s are going to represent something different than the 00s.
