i'd like to pretend i'm mister super tough, but i'm not. we had minus 25 or so (which is minus 30-something with the windchill) only a couple of days before this thread was started. so by comparison, minus 13 is nuffin!

this coming saturday and sunday? lows are minus 20, before the windchill.

We're going to have -15°C tonight and we expect up to 50cm of snow on the weekend. This is usually the coldest region of Germany here, last year we had a 30 years record of -28°C. That was the day when I missed the last night bus and had to walk home from my friend's house

The only upside is that autumn is over and it's going to be spring in two months give or take. I hate the cold, I won't even go outside to buy some grocery if it's not absolutely necessary I hope summer will make up for that.

the last time anything close to that i think it was about -18 F (-27 c)

im just glad there has been no power outages. last year our city went black for a couple of weeks, some people had to wait over a month for their power and heat back.
