help importing samples

i followed the instructions of the manual and held cancel while pressing resample, and "FiL" does not show up on the display and "Resample" does not start blinking. i'm pretty sure the files are all formatted correctly, and even if they weren't, it seems like i should at least be able to get past this one step before i get an error. any help would be MUCH appreciated.

actually thats where a lot of people have a problem. the manual doesn't do a great job explainin this. i'll tell ya what to do but i just want to say that this topic has DEF been covered before.

anyway
1. name em right(blahblah.wav)
2. ROOT folder(this means samples directly to cf reader;NO FILES)
3. follow instructions in manual

still trouble, do a search...
after that ask again; good luck, you'll get it.

the files are named correctly and are in the root folder. my problem is that i'm holding down cancel and pressing resample and nothing is happening. am i misunderstanding something?

yeah that is weird! i don't know what to tell ya cept if ur sure it won't work; than maybe reinstall O.S.
-maybe try diffirent lengths of time holding the buttons down...
