Quick Question for sp users

i recently started using the 505 and noticed that the stock samples amplitude looks like its peaking on the screen since the wavform extends past the edges. does this mean that after i sample something onto a pad i should amplify it after sampling to extend past the borders of the screen as well or would that cause a drop in quality/clipping?
