all i gotta say is - REAL TALK.

it's just sad that some people sniffed a new business in makin and selling beatzz. its annoying cuz most of those BEATZ are turbo-simple and WACK.

im just glad that im the part of THIS community, which makes beats cuz we love it. If its gonna be appreciated by someone else - thats good for us. If that appreciation would mean not only good words, but also some money - thats good for us. Those things are secondary.

But while one make them beats and think about the potential appreciation and money he can get first - he's just another fake ass playah.

I think the world would be a better place if music would be less commercialized, but I'm sure that won't happen. Even the socalled Indie scene seems to have spawned it's commercial offspring nowadays.

I guess pretty much anyone who claims to make music for the sake of music, but receives a paycheck anyways, is probably something of a liar.

Agree with most everything you said, tho I try to not pay attention to shit like that...I don't think its a good attitude to act like it's impossible to make it in the game putting your art first...may be true in a lot of ways, but as you said you just gotta stick to your guns and push forward. Making great art takes lots of dedication (time not making money) and eventually you have to start getting kickback otherwise you won't be able to put the time in to create something that crosses the barrier b/w hobbiest shit and truly dope music. So yeah, "playing the game" is wack and stupid and pointless, but we all gotta eat..........
