? regarding backup data
When you save back up data on the 404 does it back up the samples too? For instance after you backup could you delete all the pads and patterns and start fresh then reload all the old data later? Reason I ask is I thought this is how it worked but I think I just deleted my song for the battle, well the samples anyway.

any of this will hold both your samples and patterns.. just load it back in and you're ready to go..

Ah, well I lost my samples for the battle. Shit happens. At least I know now. Thanks for clearing this up for me, the manual was pretty vague.
