NI are having a campaign until the November 30., where Reaktor, Absynth, Massive and FM8 can be had for 99$/euros each.
That's a pretty decent offer if you ask me! :D

Not quite too tempting (for me) when the whole package Komplete 6 includes them all and more for only 450€.

Then you'd get: Kontakt 4, Absynth 5, Guitar Rig 4, Massive, FM 8, Reaktor 5 and Battery 3.

Save money and buy Komplete 6 if you're interested in all of 'em.

Yeah, I must say I agree on this. Personally I already have Komplete 5 and I'm upgrading to version 6 asap :D
However, if you're on a budget, Reaktor is an AWESOME prog, and definately the one I'd recommend first and foremost among these.

i bit on reaktor... I have until the end of the year to decide if i want to upgrade to komplete 6 for $299...so it would be komplete 6 for $398 total this way instead of $499. now it's time to get patching!

How does that deal work? Can we buy reaktor for 99$ and than upgrade for the remaining 400$ or do you get an extra discount?

as far as I can tell, for me at least in US$$, it's $99 for reaktor 5 on sale and then if I want to I have until dec 31st to upgrade from reaktor to komplete 6 for an additional $299 at audiomidi.com http://www.audiomidi.com/Komplete-6-Upgrade-P12696.aspx so all said and done reaktor 5 plus komplete6 upgrade would be $398, instead of $499 for buying komplete 6 from the start. gives me a month to get the think it over and possibly get the funds together.

still not sure how much use I would get out of the other stuff...maybe battery and massive if I start doing some more stuff ITB, i dunno...Reaktor was always what stood out to me in the komplete bundle. not that the others aren't dope, just don't know if i'd use them that much.

Remember that Kontakt comes with a huge sample library, and is a very creative sampler indeed. Also, Absynth is great for evolving ambient sounds.

True, but if it's the sample library you're after, you should probably do a good Google search as there should be people sharing those already.

But I think if your work flow includes software already, incorporating and using the other packages won't be too much of a hassle. :)

my mate uses Battery (sitting in Cubase) and a padKontrol and it is such a simple and productive set-up

arguably a MPC would do the same ish, but for software heads i'd recommend Battery
