Story One (rappin through the 404)

I found an old ass microphone at this thrift store (like from the 70's)

So I ran it through the 404, made a microwave beat, added compression (good ol twelvey) and viola!

The beat is ill calm and the flow matches nicely to the vibe. I really like the sound on the mic though, that's a come up.

dope. did you record your vocals onto the 404, or just run them through it for the compression?

Nah I just ran the mic through the 404 while the sequence looped and I recorded it to my 8 track.

awesome, the vocals sounded real warm, and i really liked the lyrics and beat too.

i found this crazy reverb and eq unit at the thrift store the other day, but it was $500..
