such a noobie question

First off, hi. I'm ryan. just got my first roland 404, and have such a lame question. I have everything set up, but i can only get audio out of the left headphone. I have tried everything i can think of, but i am stuck. I would really appreciate any help. thanks again.

option 1) yr headphones are busted
option 2) yr 404 is busted
option 3) you sampled in stereo, but either panned it hard one way on the mixer, or the cable going in was mono, or stereo but shorted out
option 4) you are actually deaf in one ear. I'm sorry. it's very sad.
