yo,

anybody doing electro, d'n'b, breaks, ambient on the sp-404?
just hear hip-hop all the time in this forum (maybe I haven't listened to enough posts).
Don't get me wrong, I got nothing against hip-hop and appreciate all your work!!!

check 606man's posts, he's shared a few dance tracks he made with the sp606

my 404 helps me make electronic and ambient tracks. usually i shape/slice/morph sounds in the 404, combine sounds into patterns etc...then use a DAW to piece it all together.

I'm into breaks a bit, and kinda progressive/minimal sorta stuff... as well as some no holds barred rave with a hint of oldschool flavour

my friend makes crazy olskool jungle type shit with 404.. Something what Amon Tobin would come up.. I'll ask him to post some of his work up here.

i use my 404 for playing electronicarock live.. then i can play 404loops and guitar at the same time.. i can also play microkorgriffs together with my 404 loops and i will start to trigger loops live and not use the pattern sequencer..

the machine rocks!

I normally make industrial, trip hop, IDM, even noise and breakcore. Haven't finished a track on the 404 yet but it shouldn't be long.
