that's it, from now on i'm only sampling perry como & pat boone. =)

seriously though, fuck that. xian brainwash propaganda. john lennon was killed by RELIGIOUS NUT who thought he was the antichrist. aleister crowley was a singular personality. in addition to his metaphysical writings he still holds several world records for bare hand (no gear) mountain climbing. not to start a war...

I never liked the beatles ne way...most overhyped band ever if u ask me. :)

It really is shame though all these christians are missing the message of Christ with these pointless rants and fear tactics. Thats how the pharisees ran things and he called them vipers. Christ came with a message of love and salvation and these cats are running around yelling about satanic music and such...who cares ? according to the bible Christ defeated satan by conquering death... so why get so worked up about a defeated enemy ? I dont get it :)

If it wasn't for the beatles, or to be specific, George Martin, music-making would not be anything like it is today. Many of the production techniques that you, I, and every modern producer use on a daily basis were pioneered in those studios. Even if you don't like their music, their production ideas changed the music world forever...

Yeah too true; unfortunately I got ear-bashed with them when I was young because my dad is a Beatles fanatic...

I really like *some* of their tracks (sgt peppers album mostly), but others, especially the 'hits' are just plain cheesy!

Trivia - did you know that the word 'flange/flanger' came from the mouth of John Lennon - he would tell Martin to 'add some flange to it' when he wanted some strange effects on the music...

As muscians the Beatles are pretty much lame ass hell, but what George Martin did to harness their raw energy in post production is amazing, and don't get me wrong I love the Beatles music but all they did in terms of playing music is recreate the black music from the America.
