hmmm i've seen doom as an imposter play and thought it was lame(knew it wasn't him). then i saw doom for real and thought the set was way too short. doom is on my top fifteen mcs for sure, but so is brother j, (grew up on xclan and dark sun riders but CMON MAN, the new shit is wack. public enemy too (yep). i liked born like this, but i think doom ruined lightworks. and the american graffiti one... my two favortites cuts off donuts, two great producers and it got fucked up somehow....... kind of like how i love both del and automator both but deltron3030 didn't work for me..... the rhymes dope, the beats dope as well but it didn't fit... like they emailed both parts to each other simultaneously without hearing each other's shit........ oh, so your saying that his delivery isn't that nice. well i think the way he puts words together is part of his flow and both work hand in hand. i couldnt imagine doom rapping a different way with the way his lyrics are. it kinda works together. that be like a fast rapper slowing down, it just would sound dumb. i think delivery is style so i couldnt understand how you could have next level lyrics but deliver them wrong. if thats the case then id like to ask, how could he deliver them better? id like to get to the meat of this!!!! im interested.

i dont use 808 or 909 drums. and i probably shouldnt have said fuck synths. i really meant fuck def jux and their synthesized hip hop. im just against synthesizers when they dont sound good.

i just cant really say to many good things about the def jux crew but i been out the loop for a while. the flows was never there for me. its was a bunch of unique individuals that all had different styles but i just couldnt enjoy any of time.
