404 Stopped Working; Advice/Help

Hello,

I've come across some problems with my 404 and was hoping to get some help. Okay, so this afternoon it was working fine. This evening I set everything up and I wasn't getting any sound out of it, I was pressing the pads and they were lighting up but no sound. I thought it was a weird problem with the card so I took it out and the stock A pad worked. I turned it off and put my card back in and as it was starting up it read sp404 err. Tried it again and was getting -.-.-. with the periods flashing.

Okay, so I turned everything off and unplugged it and am trying it at a different spot. Now without the card neither the A or B pads contain anything, when I press record all of the pads are free but I can only record to B. Put the card in and I can now record to all of the pads except for A, had the error message "fnt" (format) and "enp" (empty) just come up. I cancelled the protect so now I can record on all the pads. Alright, so everything was cleared off.

Is there something that I did to mess this thing up? I'm bummed that all of my samples and recordings are gone but I just don't want it to happen again. Sorry for the long post, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

not sure. sounds like yr flash card is messed up. trying a new card may be the way to go.
