Wundrkut came crazyyy... Beat was proper and still won the battle for me, but towards the end he just killed it with that little sample of a gasp or breathing.... NUTS, I went crazy when I heard that. All beats were tight more or less but Wundrkuts stood out for me the most and gets my vote.

Respect to everyone who flipped that sample, it was refreshing to hear 6 diff takes on it

teewok great sample sample and drum selection. here is my take on everybody's beats

kel - came correct as usual! super dope dark lo-fi action. crazy sound processing on your gritty snare, i liked how you pitched them on the turn around. dope how the moods switch briefly during the breakdown, then back to the dark ish.

e.simon - cool how you layered the keys and the vocals. very dope first entry, hope to hear more from you in future battles/challenges

korakios - really dug that initial pattern you had with the drum rolls and piano stabs. pretty cool how you made it into tones then sped up the break.

biggibboybeatmasterb - great bass tones you got out of the samples really nice! LOL at the "J to the R, O, C"

phemox - so sick man. choice flip of the break and samples, nice variety and the pattern after the reverse samples -> INFECTIOUS!!!!!

teewok - those keys is chopped nicely. i like the lo fi character to them. the way you played it back had soo much soul and feeling. some serious head dip action -> cheerleader chickenhead ish!! the "funk face" was definitely activated throughout your track

great submissions from everyone, had to go with teewok with very close runner ups with phemox and kel. teewok thank you very much for the vote man!

i went with Teewok this time. really loved the music chops, and had a really cool vibe to it. everybody had really nice drumwork going on here. PHeMoX and Wundrkut (bass was awesome) were tied for second i think. i was really surprised to hear different stuff out of such a busy sample. thanks for the vote Korakios, your drum patterns were crazy esp. on the first half 8)
