If you don't need it send it over to my place
Kidding...but... you can if you want
Is the MPC really that bad? Too bad I've never been able to try using one...

guys
the mpc1000 is the best editing/sounding machine i got.
saying that, the fx are not that great.
the saving/loading is a bit annoying.
i still didnt explore it as is i should indeed.
mute groups, 16 levels, 16 patterns at once are cool features really
...the best could be to play the mpc through sp505/sp303/st224/kp2 fx via the 6 outs of this machine itself...very psychedelic/absurd experience...

That's what I hate most about the MPCs ive tried.. you have to load things into ram, and save things separately and its confusing/annoying - if you forget to save one bit or something then load up and half your project is wrong etc.
Samples.

Yeah I hear that - I've had the 60 and 2k in the past and I could never get past that workflow issue.
I also wanted to show an update to my lab. Of course this means that there was no room for my ms10 but I use a sine wave 95% of the time for bass so I use subtractor in reason for that controlled via the nanokey. Big news for me is that I mustered up the courage to mod my 808. I got tired of sampling it cuz it never sounded as good and I can't step sequence to save my life so now I midi retrofitted it and control it via the padkontrol. I have to admit though it was nerve wracking to solder 20 tiny wires to the circuit board onto solder pads the size of pin heads. I can't believe I didnt mess it up! But the first time I hit did a snare roll with the x/y pad through the actual unit I nearly wet myself.
