My name is Amanda Christian, a project manager with Quickstar Productions. We specialize in creating music-marketing campaigns and digital distribution services for small labels and independent musicians. After checking out your music, we think “Art Mouth” would be a great fit for our Urban Underground Compilation CD.



We know that breaking into the music industry can be a painful process. Many parties become involved in your careers, and scrutinize your creative work to determine whether or not your music will sell. We design our compilations to be a sure fire way to help rising musicians take the next step, getting you some great exposure while connecting you with other artists and future partners. We orchestrate our productions to get your music heard at the most reasonable prices available, to be a partner to you, investing in your career.



Here’s the deal:

We will master your track and produce a retail ready album that we send to our promotional partners at major and indie labels, mainstream, college and internet radio stations and our contacts throughout the industry. We will also distribute the album digitally, making your music available as a single and a ringtone on over 300 different digital retailers, including iTunes. You get 50% of the proceeds from your track, and the peace of mind that you are making significant progress to achieving your musical aspirations.



All of our artists participating in the project make an investment of $165. In addition to the above, this gets you 50 CDs that you will receive to use for promotion or profit, while exposing your music to a whole new audience.

We expect the compilation to be released within the next few months, but our tracklists fill very quickly. Please contact me with your questions and let me know where you stand with the project. Typical pay-to-play shit. Somewhere between a Nigerian business scam and a legit promotional company. You know they just send out a blanket form email and "paste" your project title in there to make it seem more personal.

The truth is getting your music onto iTunes, Amazon or CD baby is not that hard, you just have to devote some time & resources to it. Why give a dime to anyone else?

maybe check out some of the other stuff they have on itunes and see if you could maybe contact one or more of the artists that they have worked with, also see if they have gone onto bigger things so to speak. in this day and age it seems like it could be a legit alternative way to go about things, however, people are shadier than ever so i'd do some research.

yeah im def not going to pay anyone a thing. but they named an individual track which is much more than ive seen. i just find this stuff funny plus what about all the copyrights? on the track i sampled Britney spears, a few movies, nas, american idol and prob some other shit i dont remember...165 aint gona cover that stay up guys
