Really happy with it, although at teh moment I can only sequence the blofeld via the arpeggiator it's still pretty useable!

That Blofeld loox really nice...am wondering if that could be something for me(technohead as i am)
B.t.w. what ist that thing on the top of the picture that loox like some wired sugarcubes?

heh! The wired sugarcubes are the button pads for my sequencer...

Bit more info - It's based off the arduino mega, that does all the processing..
The sugar cubes are button pads, kinda like the ones on the 404 etc, but smaller. They will be used as step buttons for laying out sequences, kinda like x0x drum machine style... The main idea behind it will be being able to setup loops and things live inside sequences.. because there are 32 buttons there i can have 32 steps (2 bars at 16th resolution) at my finger tips at all times.. the idea being i can do something like, hold 2 of the buttons and it makes a loop between those steps, or retrigger from different parts of the sequence, etc.

When it's done there will also be more button pads off to the side for function / menu selection , and a row of 8 encoders running across above the main button pad for setting things like pitch-per-step, sequencing other params like gate length, velocity, etc.

As for the blofeld... its sweet! capable of doing some crazyass sounds, and I also use it as a 2nd sampler with the License SL upgrade u can load 64mb of samples into it and play them through the whole synth engine.

I am considering selling it actually ... I need money unfortunately :( But i'm trying to avoid it as long as possible!

Clean that dust off your Sampletrak and you'll be good to go! Give it a few weeks to grow on you and you'll never put it down. I know from experience! :D
