I am coming to terms with the fact that imagination to reality is a constantly deteriorating process.

not just for beat making either.

when you cant come out with shit you like.

and when you hear in your head exactly what you want but technology doesnt let it happen. thats why i prefer playing instruments much more control, easier to give it soul (thats what i love bout shit like donuts its like dilla playing the sp and pc like instruments)

Its weird.. when I compare shit i do to shit pros do.. it sounds like we're not even playing the same pitch scale/tuning or something.. doesnt make sense.. but then u test the notes against the song and they are in key.. they just dont sound right on their own.

I have the same feeling, cartesia

I always tell myself that the pros use better gear, but is that really it?

yeh man, ish never arrives in time!! i also hate having to save for new gear, better than stealing i suppose. hopefully getting a micron in time for the summer.

all i hate about making beats is naming the ish. takes me nearly aslong as making it.

I hate recording all the samples in my machine specially if you're sampling drums and a bunch of other lil sounds.
