thats the usual case. had a panasonic... 80 for a new needle, 100 for a brand new turntable...guess what a i went with :cry:

well... my 100 only bought lowish quality. its not too bad. but it depends on what you want to accomplish with the turntable, and the environment that its located in.

you do know panasonic makes technics, right?

i think it's nice.
i use a little mono portable deal.
you can dub and pan on that can't you? when it breaks you can upgrade but until then...

edit-needles can be rigged. i would worry more about the belt; if it's belt driven.

yeah its belt driven...all i use them for is sampling. not so worried bout scratching or anything like that. all i do is sample from them. and if it breaks i mean ill just go buy another cheap one. doesnt really bother me. but i thought it was alirght lol something for me in the mean time
