Dilla, Madlib, Stonesthrow -- Siren samples

Post by thetownie »

Ok..

I can't pin the track..but madlib and dilla use this one siren sample alot in there songs..I can't remeber which track..but if you have heard the "thank jay dee act 2" podcast put out by stonesthrow..youve probally heard it...Its all throughout the killbill soundtrack...It sounds like something out a 70's Blaxploitation flick.....anybody know what I'm talking about?? anybody have any samples like that?..I am diggin, jst thought I'd ask amidst the process...

isn't that like Dilla's signature? I recently heard it in some dude's track and couldn't help thinking what a rip-off it was and how uncreative. Why don't you go and find your own signature sound? Be creative!
