i know i could just resample and turn the volume down and the end but im talking about one shots, like short, fast one shots. or even snares so they wont just click out at the end.
any tips?

could delay or tape echo give you the sound that you are looking for?

im not trying to give it a tail, i want to get rid of those hard chops at the end of samples. i know you can do it in the computer but im trying to stay as far away from a computer as i possibly can. like if i got a nice smooth ass sample and i want to have a nice decay instead of chopping it so it just cuts off. i know mpc have some way to adjust the attack and decay, but i dont have a mpc.

couple of work arounds

hit the start/end/level

grab knob three, twist it down while simultaneously hitting the sample and loop capture record

or you could use the third knob on subsonic, with the second knob all the way up so theres no sub effect only silence

see, thats what i was thinking with the levels but i would have a hell of a time trying to get it with short samples. like a snare or something. guess some things in life are just hard
thanks
