Call me Crazy but U can't chop/slice with a SP 404. I do not see a slicer function button or anything near.Also,what vids r u to learn how to slice samples on the SP 404 cause I can't find any on "YOUTUBE". Thanks 4 ur help

You must be on the wrong YouTube then, there are a bunch of vdis on there. Type in sp beatmaking chopping, you'll get something.

i will make a video real soon about it....but i already have on up. my camera work was not the best, but i am working on a detailed one. it will be on the 404sx but work for 404 too.

I believe your referring to auto-chop, which the 404 does not have. You can use the mark button to isolate certain parts of a loop or sample, this requires making multiple copies of the same sample using the pattern copy trick though. Welcome to the world of hands on, welcome to the forum too. :D
