this is some of the chillest stuff ive heard man. glad your back on the sp. i remember a bit ago you wanted to get out of the music scene, but you know you can't escape the addiction... did you do these without the sequencer?

I didn't use the sequencer for Bit krusher, Change the tone, Get yo soul touched, and body, mind spirit. I try to mix it up between sequencer and all resamples because I stumble on new stuff quicker when I switch it up.
I thought a lot of your stuff was crazy resampling IIIII.

i resample a lot, but then use the sequencer to flesh out the idea of the track. especially because i like being able to go back and rework a sample, change the volume or whatever of certain pieces. so i try not to layer too many sounds until im on the sequencer. sometimes its a wrestling match to get the poly to work with me though...

One thing you find is some sounds like drums can lose their punch or snap if you layer them in too early. One thing you can do if you lose the snap of your snare is to layer it back in at the end of your reampling with only the hi freqs since that's what you tend to lose with resampling, for kicks you can slide an 808 under it to give it some thump back.

Right on, I appreciate that.
I know when I first joined, Dj Frantic and Beatjitzu were blowing my mind.

Dope sounds, Euclid! It's very rare for me to go to someone's myspace page and like every single track on the playlist.
