We should set a standard for entries at 320 kps MP3's or other formats that aren't lossy at all, that way a nice beat isn't misrepresented cause of the bit rate or frequency loss

Yeah, I only want that high grade. Don't gimme no bammer SP, we don't bump that shit in the SFC. 320kpbs is fine, please no 128.

word up...time for number 3! i am in. i have to break this new SX in anyways. so whens the due date? yeah i am all about doing these once a month. i need this good motivation to create! oh and i am trying to get SOME videos of the SX together. any questions y'all have for the sx? will try to do a few with examples of how it sounds/how it works...etc. peace y'all

Nice, you make good SP videos man.
For a due date, I'm gonna go with Nov.25 so we have a few days to set-up the next tape in December. I think we should have a different person due the tape each month to add to the variety so we'll have different album art and mixtape titles.

euclid could you tell what , more or less, type of mp3 can complete the beat tape? maybe this could make you and us easy to not send you "rough" or "wrong" material...have you thought about a mood this beattape could have?

Okay, the theme is chill out music with a fresh hip hop beat and it has to be made using only resample. NO SEQUENCERS :shock:

That should make it interesting.

cool. i never use the sequencer on my 404. i might send in something for this if i'm not too busy.

Yeah, I figured most of us just resample all the time with these things since that's the most fun. It also gives the people who mostly use the sequencer a chance to experiment a little.
