Alias is a mad producer, his drums are unbelievable. Him, Jel and Sixtoo are pioneers of that style. i really like the beats he did for Deep Puddle Dynamics
awesome. thx for posting this, observ. i'm a big fan of alias' stuff (listening to Muted right now!), and don't think nosdam or jel get as much credit as they deserve either.

yessire
odd nosdam and alias are highly underrated, mostly by people who are close minded.... people are only realizing how fresh jel is because the recent videos he posted...
wow man this place is really cool, i expected a bunch of guys talking about nerd rap and all that rubbish neglecting the fact that good music is good music...

haha
"this guy listens to nerd rap! lets get him banned"
nah i really enjoyed Jel's album 10 Seconds. i have to hear some more to Anticon, I've heard Deep Puddle Dynamics too. and I have Them somewhere. Havent heard much other than those though, and their myspace pages
Oh yeah, there are some producers who start with a melody/sample then add the drums later.
Madlib does that some time and fits the drums by feel and unquantized. It's sloppy but dope!!
