this battle was no joke everybody pulled out their heat seeking missiles.

i had a hard time choosing 1 out of all of these. but i had to vote for ormo. really feeling the grittiness/rawness as a whole. and the transition into the second part is infectious.

well sheeit, i'm going with IIIII on this one but i had to flip a coin between you and Ormo, i was really tripping over your drum sounds and extremely tasteful (for lack of a better word) patterns, really groovy with ominous dissonant tones, definitely sounds like you're out in the woods at night! Teewok your chops were real good and the structure was real nice, i like especially how you let the hi hats ride out with the voice. i think it was the most rap-able one to me. Count you had those ill-ass drums, i think the coolest drums, and i didn't have to look at my ipod when it came on cuz your style is unmistakeable.... dope! Jaylost your drums and chops fit like pb&j and set a mood much different than that from either of the og samples on their own. Ormo had the crazy ass second half which startled me, love those bubbly crazy kicks and the piano stabs on the first part were sharp. aye aye aye so many beats. dp you took all the shiniest chops from the piano one and made em dance just right, with the doppler effect and all... how do you get your stuff to sound so big and stereo-y like that. don't sleep on 'the dirt beat kid'!! or any of your other shit for that matter. your donut beat from before made me wanna barf it was so ill. PheMox had the good vibe goin and it was the first one on my playlist, it set the perfect tone for the long walk ahead with the multiple crashes on the fills haha. SteveC you had one of my favorite musical parts, cuz i'm a fiend for that dissonant shit, and i could tell you were picky about the way you put it together, great job. Culprit that ish was nuts, i kind of started cracking up when it came on cuz it was just so loud and in your face. i can't really take a wild guess how you put that together man but it was stylin. Wundrkut, your drums were really smooth and the texture of the whole thing fit together really well. you've got the lo-fi thing polished and the mix was really nice. Cerpin Taxt, that's my ish right there... LOVE the second and third transitions. gave me flashbacks of driving around smoking weed and listening to instrumental beats when i used to live in the country. Ellaguru great use of effects, really focused and kind of laid back while heavy at the same time, and i like the groove of the drums very much, how they kind of stumble over each other... i've often tried to get a groove like that but i just can't seem to. and dibiase of course that shit was dope. you always choose the funkiest parts and put them in the right pocket, the right order. you could prob flip mary had a little lamb and put soul into it! hope i didn't leave anybody out. great beats by all... PAYCE!!

Thanks for the cool feeback Kel.

Sorry I've been lame on the feedback front myself guys, I'll try and put more time in next round - hopefully things will be less busy for me by then.

Needless to say all your shit is ill.
