Large Pro Remix

Post by Teewok »

My man and I are working on a remix album for the DJ JS-1 - Ground Original 2 mixtape... It's almost complete and I thought I share one of my mixes with everybody. This one is by Large Professor and it's called "Like This"... cuts are by DJ JS-1 (from Rocksteady Crew)

Thanks homies :D

@ellaguru-->The beat was done on the 606... I didn't do to much drum programming as I just looped a break... with a lil chopping here and there for the drum roll... Alot of work went into the melody for the sample as those first 3 notes at the beginning of each bar is actually chopped up... center cancel+isolator for the bassline....For the acapella I used this really simple program called MP3 Audio Mix by Acoustica to align the acapella by slicing in various places and matching with the beat....Its basically a cut copy and paste program for mp3 and wav files with options of volume/rate/pan
