404 or 606... help a newbie out...

yep... no probs so far... im sure ill be hitting you all up with some questions before too long tho...
im really happy i ended up going the 404... i cant get over how easy it is to use... a great introduction to sampling, thats for sure...
only thing is the pads,,, the ones on the 606 were way better...
but ehh... only a small issue... i dont mind that much...

get a padkontrol. best pads in existence. those pads plus the ease, simplicity and power of your new friend and you can't lose.

i dont get it.... im coming from a mpc 2000xl, yet i dont mind the sp-404 pads at all. but the 404 is definitely a fun ass machine

the issue with the pads in that they're actual buttons, not hard, so the travel time can make timing difficult. but if you're in love don't let me break the honeymoon. =)

I would say the 404 I dont make beats with it I just use it to put my personal dj drops into my lives mixes at shows and I love it....
