pad 1 = part sel
pad 2 = mute
pad 3 = solo ....
Can somebody explain what exactly these functions do or how to use them... I press func+pad 1/2/3... and the pad will simply light up when I press func again...but nothing else happens!

Re: Part Sel/Mute/Solo ???
ok nevermind it's been brought to my attention that those functions are all for midi/p606 software
Re: Part Sel/Mute/Solo ???
I setup & ran P606 once and was very uninspired- plus I already have other sequencers, etc so maybe I just didn't give it enough time. There was a user on this board who was the master of the 606 "606Man" and he swore by it- he used to pitch samples using it. I might give it another whirl on some boring Sunday, but the big question is- has anyone used their 606 to V-Link control something yet?

hey ya man... respect to 606man... His old posts really helped me alot in getting familiar with the 606 and feeling happy about the machine hahha....yea im pretty uninspired by p606 aswell... I'm pretty comfortable using the internal 606 as a standalone anyway... I'm happy with the 4 track sequencing
