Those extra production steps paid off cuz this comes away with a different feel then your other stuff. It makes me rethink my beat fosure.
i was feelin these samples so much i had to use extra steps since it was allowed this time. if i wouldve used all 404 it probably would been more raw than smooth.
yes sample in the chorus with piano and some lower "bassy" stuff
sounds like its straight off the mutha f**kin cassette. i like how u used ur voice as an instrument as well. dope
thanks man, i thought i went a bit overboard with the vocals....
but unfortunately thats just the hiss of electronics doing some technical crap that gets in the way of recording sometimes haha
ur good i thought that worked out smooth with the intro. hahaha and the hiss was an accident.lol hey that happens sometimes it added flavor to that definitely.
Heres mine...... I used fl to pitch the sample, layer up some drums and I ran the sample through a tape saturation plugin.....then bounced that all into the 303, made the beat, recorded it and then ran it through the sp again adding compression... I went a little boombap with this beat lol...
so far everyones is sick, hd's and dibreezys especially

Maybe i went a little overboard with the compression... Think i should upload it with less compression?
cheers

the yes's in the intro on your beat are straight out of some fear and loathing style acid trip...

i only used the "awaken" sample, drums were on one of my smart media cards. all 303(j griz i messed with the chromatic ps cool tip) dumped into ableton then back into the 303 again for further efx/eqing(thanks dibiase) then i plugged my sp into my mixer to create the mutes with the channel faders and scratches.
