That is some crazy ill music. I love synths. I really wish I knew how to use/tweak them though. I have always been fascinated by them but just can't grasp the creation part. Nice find though.

scotland has produced quite a lot of nice dubstep and wonky (i hate that fucking word) artists recently. although i disagree with calling aphex twin a synth king, i've also found most of his acid house tracks to be nice, but nothing mind-blowingly revolutionary. not that they have to be or anything but i think a lot of people have an overblown view of aphex twin.

opinions are like.....you know the rest

drukqs is one of the greatest electronic albums of all time. acid house is not for me though...

hes had offers from korg and roland to buy his schematics for the altered synths he has made/destroyed and declined many times. i think if big companies want your secrets its ok to label you the synth king

i really don't know that.
for me is one of the weakest production made by mr R James. it's a sterile repetition of what he have done before. "selected ambient works I" and "II", but also "i care because you do" and "Richard James" are far better albums. not to tell about the "come to daddy ep" and "windowlicker ep"...
...one of the greatest electronic albums of all time...
what about kraftwerk's albums, silver apple's albums, suicide's albums, brian eno's albums, Klaus Schulze's albums, Manuel Göttsching's albums, Terry Riley's albums, La Monte Young's albums, Steve Reich's albums, Philip Glass's albums, Tony Conrad's albums, Alvin Lucier's albums, Morton Subotnick's albums etc etc etc....
