one of the missing features of the 555 i think is a mute button similar to the delete button. that way you could do beat drops the same way you delete your beats in the pattern sequencer
so what you got to do is find the samples you want to mute in your patterns before hand.
once you do make sure they stopped playing, then use effect assign and select them all.
then turn on the djfx using the third knob.
play back your pattern.
your samples have been muted because the looper is "looping" silence.
if you want to do beat drops now hold effect assign and select/unselect the kick/drumloop as your playing the pattern
