damn, this live autochop function is amazing!
Re: korgs new micro sampler
it's a not major thing but korg USA must be full of shit OR their getting a special microsampler. the UK and Japan site say it's running at 96 parts per 1/4 note and has a polyphony of 14 (or 7 when multisampling?). whatever!
insert funny comment here.

Lol... I bet roland are shitting their pants over the fact that this thing will be competing with their not-really-upgraded 404sx
Samples.

ahaha
i feel the smell of it...
this makes me smile, but i don't really think that the microsampler is in the same market as the 404. personally i see this microsamlper as an upgrade with your midi keyboard not as a concurrent of the 404 (pads-404, keys-microsampler, plus the 404 is smaller so more portable...).
but this machine - the korg - seems to be interesting indeed.

I'm going to buy a microsampler instead of a 404 now for sure. Match that up with my 303 and I'm where I wanna be.

Re: korgs new micro sampler
the manual pdf is up on the korg site, reading it......im not really in the know in terms of specs etc...but from what i can make out the microsampler does EVERYTHING the sp-404 does, minus a couple of roland fx obviously, but it also does a LOT more.....going to try to keep my 404 and use both, but if i need to im thinking the 404 might have to go to raise the funds.....feeling a bit done by roland after the new 404 coming out anyway....im sure a lot of the new features could have been done in a firmware update or something that old and loyal 404 users could have downloaded and installed to their existing machines also? something along those lines would have been nice....
hello KORG..........
