I red about ASR-X Pro and I have to say that you are a strange person to go from a quite powerful sampler to limited machine like 404. I can say that I started off with PC Production and then went to sp404 and then to sp505 and so one, so probably I am even more stranger fellow.

I guess nowadays everyone's beat creativity starts to flow only when they are limiting their ideas. But its ok. I started with it and i am happy.

You can check my myspace there are lots of my sp404 beats (all of them are only made on 404). I have not yet managed to upload 505 beats...

Happy to hear that you will have a nice peace of gear soon... Have fun!

Cheers,
Olby

Very true. The ASR-X was pretty bitchy to work with as well. Too much menu diving and the thing was nearly useless live.
