Faulty power adaptor

I'm soooooo missing making beats on my beloved sp-505 it's driving me mad!
The trouble seems to be with the power adaptor, it has a loose connection and every time I tap a pad the sp's power is cut off. As you can imagine, this is a right pain.. I've tried pretty much everything apart from taking the back off and giving it a good ole clean.. Anybody here experience the same problem? suggestions please folks.. Many thanks

unfortunately i never hadn't this trouble.

change the power adaptor, maybe. where are you from? here in europe it doesn't costs that much.
