haha i was thinking the same thing.. not knowing what they are saying they seem to be fumbling around.. i wish they had shown a little more about what it does rather than play live at the end.. i think it looks neat but i hope it has a good sequencer.. it appears to have one but if its complicated like the micron... ehhhhh

lol

so does a casio keyboard

i would actually like to see the functions that make this thing better than a casio keyboard

like adjustable loop points down to the millisecond

i like the look...kinda old school looking. i want to know all it can do. it might have to be picked up. i have been thinking roland/akai needs to make a lil keyboard sampler. like make the mpk sampler for akai. but korg has beat them to it. and the pitch did sound good. hmmmmm? :?:

damn, i have high hopes for this thing. I've been thinking lately about how I'd kill for something like an EPS in a microkorg form factor (ever since i sold my EPS because it was too big). I'm with Hurling though about the adjustable loop points, the loop point modulation on the EPS is one of my favorite things ever...come on korg!!! make this thing dope!!!

damn everyone check out the new WAVE DRUM....im speechless on it

its like the roland handsonic but realistic...if that thing is midi assignable ill never touch a drum pad again

Yes.. it has playable pitch.. yes.. a casio does too.. But hey look the SP still doesnt :P

In terms of features/specs, this should actually pretty interesting.. but that interface.. jesus!!

Might be cool if it has some great effects and advanced features like auto slice. Looks kind of like a casio sk 2001 or some shit. I'm in the market for a new sampler, but until I see the specs I would rather have an esx-1.

is it possible that this might be japanese only?

is there even mention of US/EU/AU release?

lots of electonic gear comes out in Japan that never reaches the states, and this thing seems mighty niche imo

this thing however...
http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2009/ ... drum-wd-x/

looks immenseeeee

more performance gear please!
