WHY THE FOOK ARE THEY CALLED WISDOM TEETH IF ALL THEY DO WHEN YOU GET THEM IS HURT!

:(

I am in much pain.. whole righthand side of my face, just from a wisdom tooth that is pushing its way out.... been taking masses of codeine at shortest intervals possible.. hardly does a thing for more than an hour or so though, and can only really take it once every 6 hours

Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Somebody fill my room with N2O please or something!
I hope I get mad wise after all this is over!

Had to get my wisdom tooth come up right on the day of my 23rd birthday... must be a sign.!! :P ...Unfortunately though I still want to be 17, not 23..

that reminds of my last "wisdom" tooth...it grew out sorta sideways and the dentist cut open my upperjaw to pull it out with a pair of pliers that looked like it was made to pull out teeth from a horse. The nurse held back my head with all her strength with the doc to pull out that thing vise versa...blood was squirting all over the place and had to be sewed up with 8 stitches....how´s that for a lil horrorstory?!

hey but the cool thing was i got sum neato pills that sorta made me float 10cm over the ground

ahhh OK.. mine is pointing a little out the other way, but no more than 30 degrees i think

I think thetre might be some infection or something, theres a huge lump in the gum just where its poking out.. its too painful to touch to tell if it is bone just under the gum or some kind of infected swolen type thing.. eww

my tooth stopped hurtin :D

seems it was just going through a process of perhaps having to rearrange the tooth next to it a bit or maybe just pushing out a bit further than it was before... the swelling at one point was so bad that u could see a lump sticking out my right cheek, but its mostly gone down now..

And now I've got a wisdom tooth for keeps.. hopefully.. better not talk to soon or it will start killin me again...

but for now, as long as i keep the tooth, I am wise like an old man 8)

Yeah, wisdom teeth... we lose them, never understood why it would mean our wisdom would increase, instead of decrease though lol. :|

All my 4 wisdom teeth had to be pulled out 5 years ago, 2 in each session. It's quite funny when you can only feel half of your tongue :o It wasn't painful at all but there's nothing more horrifying than the sound of a saw grinding on your jawbone, you can hear it like it's coming directly out of your brain.

yeah... dentistry tools are naaasssty!
You'd think there would be good money in making them look less like torture weapons.

I had 2 front baby teeth pulled that wouldnt come out naturally.. that was bad enough.. needle in the roof of the mouth then pliars.. urgghhh. . then drooling bloody spit for 24hours.

Hoping my wisdom teeth stay good.. I really *should* have gone to the dentist - it was pretty fucked up for about a week, massively enlarged the side of my jaw, would bleed somedays.. hurt like a cuuuunt.. even though I spend pretty much all of my waking life high on painkillers!
