anybody ever run their drums throught the radio tuner fx with the knobs all at 0? i think it sounds great resampled that way after og recording with lo-fi on but i can't tell if it adds eq or not. the effect reminds me of how the drums sound on 'who got the props' by black moon.

when i got a 303 to go with my 404 i started runnin stuff out of the 404 through the 303 with the radio tuner on like that and loved the way it made some stuff sound, it's almost like another sort compressor, definitely a good effect to use

Yo Kel, that was really a good one.. Like how the kicks get beefed up and the snares get filtered (?).. Def a dope characteristic. Thanx for sharing...

It sounds great indeed, but nothing beats drums through filter + drive :D

it's funny, i'm using knob 3 w/lofi as my filter instead of the 'filter' button, vinyl sim instead of compressor for compression, and djfx for pitch instead of 'pitch'. filter plus drive.. must try that today.

Dj Frantic has used the filter+drive effect very nicely in his music. I also prefer the lo-fi filter for my filtering, but the filter+drive can make some interesting mods to the sound.

dope idea with the djfx. that pitch sounds waaaaaaaay cleaner than the regular pitch effect.
i seriously need to stop relying on garageband so much and using the effects on this thing a lot more

it's good for single hits (i always tune down my percussion with it) and stabs but only will capture a split second unfortunately. if you took the time to manually chop and pitch down a phrase of a few seconds you might have to resample a performance of all 12 pads playing one after the other, and with perfect timing to make it seamless! but it would be true pitch.
