Battle 53 Poll
Another virtual SP drum circle has come to pass, now you must decide how to get rid of that guy in the poncho that always bogarts the tree. Oh, you should also decide who gets the W for this battle royale.

Re: Battle 53 Poll
Thanks for the assist Wax, I'm hella lazy 'bout posting the tracks in the poll thread but I figure it's easy enough to check the original battle thread.

Re: Battle 53 Poll
Sick battle, I'm impartial though since everyone here makes their own style of quality beats.
Re: Battle 53 Poll
It was a tough choice but my vote went to IIIII. Nice work all round though guys.

Thanx for all the votes. No. 54 is on it's way. I'm re-buildung up my studio now, so gimme like 4 hours. Samples are already picked.

Re: Battle 53 Poll
Very cool beats guys, excellent usage of the samples. It's too late for me to vote, but it would have been a tough call.
Digging the piano / guitar licks you've chopped Kel, very good job.
Wax had a very very solid beat again, with neat groove going.
IIIII's beat was hot too, very creative and awesome beat dynamics going on man. Definitely club worthy music for my taste!
DTCPU, loved that glitchy beat man, good groove! It could have used a tad more sustain in the sample chops (think; overall somewhat more reverb and a bit more continuous stream of music). Did you use a Slicer FX? The idea is very good, but I would have chopped it up and play it the way it sounds sliced now though, some parts aren't on time I think. Still a very sick beat.
DJ_Just_Jeff, for some reason there's no sound after the first 12 seconds. Anyone else had this issue? Could you please upload it again? Might be my PC here though, don't know.
edit: Nevermind, downloaded it and it works now. Guess streaming from zshare site didn't work for me here.
The beat's cool. Has a stomping vibe to it, almost a bit like a battle beat but still very relaxed. You probably could have done a little bit more with the samples as far as additional filler goes, but it's solid as is. Nice job.
