Anyone have any tips on file management, in other words, loading samples to specific pads using the CF Card. I tried doing the:

C_01Snare.wav ..... C_012Sub.wav and imported via compact flash to bank C but the pads didn't load up the hits in consecutive order as I had hoped. It loads alphabetically right?

Any Tips?

I am using the root directory and can hear the samples fine. I'm just wondering what I might be doing wrong. I'd rather not move them around after the fact, if possible. Should be a simple fix...

Ghost samples... Replace empty sample slots with quick recordings so that every bank is full... Export, import at C1... done... It kinda sucks, true... but you always can change the the postion of a sample by pressing del+rec... Just import to an empty bank and start organizing your ish
But why all this?
I mean jus copy your Roland folder to your PC to back shit up, there is no need to export the samples cause they are all in the Roland folder, marked, streched and everything / except samples and patterns from BANK A+B of course...

"It loads alphabetically right?"

Yupz.
