p.s the bass is heavy and needs to be cut back some... apologies....

i like it sir- about that thing you can't put your finger on... maybe the kick could be a little nastier to keep up with the hihats (or whatever that clap is).
it may be somethin to try out?...

I would've done the something more with the drums, in particular with the snare. But maybe you were just trying out something, too, I still liked it.

thanks for checkin. the snare samples are actually some screwdrivers i used and then myself clapping. i was thinking of adding a break over the drums ina on again off again type fashion but i havent had time since then to get back on it...

was the bass too much.???

i like the bass but the kick needs more high end on it
try resampling another punchy kick through a BP filter then layer that on top. the prob is the kick and the bass are in the same frequency range.
