the nady's are two for one so thats definitely a plus

I'd avoid the Behringer's. Their gear is usually cheap and crappy. I dunno anything about Nady but their always in the cheapo section too, so you may be getting what you pay for there. AKG has a pretty good track record. Some Sennheiser HD 280 Pros are what you really want.

ill probably go with the AKG

i dont have the cash to buy the seinheisers. i can really only spend 60 bucks tops right now and it will still be a quantum leap from the shit phones i got now

20 hz to 20khz is a perfect range for me

seinheisers have 8 hz.....wtf do they shake your head or something

ive got those hd 280s and they are great for tacking and the bass is decent. the only other joints id buy are some ATHM50s but thats more than you want to spend right now.
the hd280's are tight for the price.

Out of all the discussions I've seen online about good headphones for monitoring, AKG have come out on top - usually more expensive models than the ones youve shown there, but AKG would be the brand to go for... Just dont expect amazement from $50 headphones

i use this guide every time i need to figger on some new phones:

http://www.headphone.com/guide/by-budget/

info is solid and you can click around and find lists based on use as well.

from what you've posted above, i'd avoid the behringers, but i like nady's mics (don't know about their phones) and i use AKG's now. they're pretty solid, but they make the bass sound thicker than it is (so i gotta mix on the monitors, which i'd do anyway...but it's worth saying).

Anything from Sennheiser is great. I guess AKG's are alright, too.

I'll throw another vote for the Sennheiser hd280 pros. They're worth it, I was really against paying 90-100 bucks for headphones but im glad I did.

i realize now that i said i have AKGs - wrong info, sorry - I have audio-technicas. i have used AKGs at a buddy's place and they were fine. the info about over-abundant bass ^^ i said above is about the audio-technicas, which, otherwise, i really dig.

sorry for the wrong info.
