Less a beat than a jam.

Reason, 404, padKONTROL.

A bit unfocused but I like it.

nice man, i really like that warped lead. what are you tweaking on it - filter cutoff? sounds almost like vibrato maybe?
the drums are nice and understated, gives you a perfect foundation to go nuts with the top end :) also nice to hear some different drums from the usual boom bap/kick snare
i really dig the tweak you do 25 seconds in...nice and natural progression repeats a few times then *BAM* - gets twisted

also, for your padKontrol - check here for some crazy templates:

ay yeah, shoulda figured that was the x/y!!!

that contraption has directly altered my conscious on numerous occasions...something about the hands-on control of wavy oscillated frequencies, sends me nuts

More of a jam than a song you said. True enough but damn there's alot you can do with what you have. The lead kills man. This is ripe for chopping up and really getting down with it. Sounds cool as it is but if you were to get more focused with it this could go a long way.
