Hello. I'm pretty new to the SP-404. I read somewhere before I bought this that someone mostly used the 404 to apply effects to audio from a computer. My question is pretty simple, but I'd like to ask, so I don't end up buying cords that I don't need.
Would I be able to use a 3.5mm to RCA cord to connect my Macbook to the line in of the 404, then use an RCA to 1/4" cord to connect the line out to an amp, letting me use the 404 to add effects to the audio coming from the computer to the amp?
I know that it's not really using the 404 to it's full potential. I'm just trying a few things out.
Thanks.

Re: Using 404 Effects With a Laptop
that will be OK,
be careful with the volume of the 404 though, because amps are used to taking volume levels like that of a guitar, not line-level like the 404... so turn the 404 and the amp's input volume riiight down, and turn things up slowly - it will be much louder than running a guitar/instrument into it.
